Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Inferray ("we", "us"). They cover your use of the Inferray website, console, and API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or sending a request to the API, you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.

Your account

You need an account to use the Service. Keep the details you give us accurate, and keep your API keys secret — anything sent with your key is treated as sent by you, and billed to you. Tell us as soon as you believe a key has leaked, and rotate it in the console.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use the Service if we have previously terminated your account.

Credits and payment

Inferray is prepaid. You top up a credit balance on your organization, and each request draws down that balance at the price shown for the model at the time the request is served. When the balance runs out, requests stop. Auto top-up, if you enable it, charges your saved payment method to refill the balance on the terms shown in the console.

Credits are non-refundable. We buy inference capacity in advance and incur provider costs the moment a request is served, so once credits are purchased we do not refund them — used or unused — and we do not offer refunds for a change of mind, for models you no longer need, for requests you did not intend to send, or for spend caused by a key you failed to keep secret. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

We may, entirely at our discretion and as a one-off goodwill gesture, credit your balance when a failure on our side caused a charge — for example a request we billed but never served. That is never an obligation and creates no entitlement to further credits.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Prices are exclusive of tax unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for any tax that applies to you. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend the Service until it is settled. Opening a chargeback on a legitimate charge is a breach of these terms, and we may suspend or terminate your account and recover the amount owed.

Unused credits may be forfeited if your account is closed by you, or terminated by us for breach of these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attack the Service itself — no attempts to bypass rate limits, balance checks, or authentication, no probing other customers' data, and no reselling access in a way designed to obscure who is responsible for the traffic. We may suspend access immediately where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts you send and the outputs you receive. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process a request and produce a response for you. We record the metadata needed to bill and show you your usage — timestamps, model, token counts, cost — and you are responsible for having the rights to what you send and for how you use what comes back.

Model providers

Models offered through Inferray are operated by third parties, and your use of a model is also subject to that provider's own terms and policies. Model outputs can be wrong, offensive, or unsuitable for your purpose — do not rely on them without your own review, and do not use them as a substitute for professional advice.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service up, but we do not promise any particular uptime, latency, or capacity unless we have separately agreed one with you in writing. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including individual models, and upstream providers may do the same without notice to us.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, however caused.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) US$100.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time; doing so does not entitle you to a refund. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your payments are overdue, if your use poses a security or legal risk, or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — payment, disclaimers, liability, and this sentence — do.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will give notice through the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
